When I look for information on sex, I worry about two possibilities. The first is that the information is engaging, entertaining, informative, but ultimately from a manipulative and godless point of view. The second worry is that the site, while sharing my Christian beliefs, contains information that is true but useless.
This site is neither of the two. I strive to promote a sound Christian worldview that provides genuine insight into the world of Christian sex. My name is J.C. Hicks, and I am the founder of Hot Christian Marriage. My family and those who contribute to Hot Christian Marriage want to tackle the intimacy issues that cause divorce and require marriage counseling in so many Christian couples.
The balance comes from my experience as a volunteer and paid Christian leader in the evangelical church world(~17 years), and my insight gained from the practical world of business (~12 years), much of this overlapping. Part of my efforts came from my personal search for good information and analysis on the subject of sex in marriage. Another part came from Christian marriage counseling experience with couples in crisis. The problems inevitable come down to a lack of Christian intimacy in marriage, often manifesting themselves in the area of a couples' sex life.
What is Christian Sex? It is the physical and spiritual union of two creations of God in the context of a Hot Christian Marriage.
You have heard the old model. Marriage is exciting, vibrant and mostly immature in the beginning, but in end it is mostly about having a best friend and companion.
I believe in the new model. Marriage starts with a sense of newness and learning; yet like the art of a master craftsmen, the various features of marriage should get better and more God-glorifying with age and commitment.

By hot, here at HCM, we mean excitement and anticipation. The glory of intimacy is something embraced because it is God given and God blessed. We believe that energy and spice is not reserved for the young, or the immoral, or the movie theater. On the contrary, we believed that in a committed Christian marriage people strive to serve their partners as they care for themselves. The atmosphere of such a couple is electric.
Christian
By Christian, we mean that Christian sex is physical intimacy centered on reflecting the design, the purpose, and glory of Christ our Savior. We believe that since physical intimacy was designed by God, the best way to have great Christian sex is to consult to the principles of the Designer.
By Christian,we mean that sex is not a god, nor is marriage, by like ourselves sex and marriage are vessels for God's pursuit of His own glory.
In many ways, this website is a Christian marriage book that can be read at your leisure, and consulted as is needed. In other ways, the followers of this web form a Christian community that promote the glory of God through Jesus in marriage.
Marriage
By marriage, we mean the union of one man to one woman for life. In an age where commitment is optional, and contracts of the famous are broken at whim, we advance the idea that God designed marriage as the best and proper place for the expression of Christian sex and intimacy.
God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him. When we learn to be satisfied with God Himself, we become empowered to be great blessings to our soul mates. However, just as being a great Christian doesn't by itself make a person great at cooking, being a mature Christian doesn't make a spouse great at the art of lovemaking.
